The Weslyan Methodist Church in West Street, Ilminster,
is a grade 2 listed building, built in 1887. The building itself is
constructed of limestone rubble with freestone dressing and of a
decorated Gothic revival style. The most notable feature is probably the
fine spire. Unfortunately the church has been closed
every time we have visited and have been unable to photograph the
interior. UPDATE: June 2010 - church closed and
building sold at auction. |
